What We Do

We offer assistance for the victims of violence including domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, and any other violent crimes.

Who We Are

The Converse County Coalition Against Violence, a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency, began in 1982 by a group of citizens concerned about the victims of violence in the Douglas and Glenrock areas.  Wyoming now has similar programs in each county and one on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Funding for the coalition comes from multiple sources including the United Way of Converse County, the City of Douglas, and Towns of Glenrock and Rolling Hills, Converse County, the State of Wyoming, federal programs, local fund-raisers and cash and non-cash contributions from individuals and organizations. The agency provides assistance to victims of a wide range of violent crimes including, but not limited to, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and elder abuse.
